Employment Opportunities at Tobin

The Tobin Project seeks exceptional individuals to join our collaborative team.

Research Analysts work with leading social scientists and Tobin Project staff on a range of projects related to our four core initiatives to generate rigorous social science research aimed at solving important problems facing society. The Communications Associate writes in a range of styles to convey the content and significance of our work to scholars, policymakers, donors, partner organizations, and the public. Case Writers work with leading scholars and Tobin Project staff to translate academic research into pedagogical case studies and to promote case-based pedagogy as a transformative tool for disseminating scholarship and educating students. All positions receive a competitive non-profit salary and generous benefit package and work as part of Tobin’s small, mission-driven staff from an office in the heart of Harvard Square.

We are accepting applications from top-performing professionals, recent graduates, graduate students, and undergraduates. Our ideal candidates are thoughtful, intellectually ambitious individuals with outstanding writing skills and a passion for using rigorous research to better understand the world. We will consider applications from candidates with a background in a wide range of fields. We prefer applicants to our Research Analyst position to have independent research experience. For applicants to the Case Writer position, familiarity with case writing and the case method is welcome, but not required.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
